Student loans to help pay for healthcare reform…AND lower the deficit?

Along with the major health care reform bill, the House of Representatives passed legislation Sunday that will completely revamp the student loanĀ industry.

Under the new plan, students will borrow money directly from the government, eliminating middle-man private lenders that currently profit by approximately $70 billion each year from college studentĀ loans. Read more of this post
